Yes. As a lender, we have our own solicitors who carry out our own legal due diligence for us. We always ask all of our borrowers to take independent legal advice with their own solicitors, who make a charge for this to you.
As a bespoke lender we arrange loans based on a number of factors including your CV, income and credit circumstances, the type and location of the property, its condition and the comments provided by our surveyor on the property itself. A combination of all of these factors can permit us to lend outside industry norms and often achieve higher LTV (loan to value ratios) on our loans.
